Now that you have identified your pest bird as a pigeon, we can offer some suggestions to proof your home, structure, or business.

Home/Residence/Single family dwelling

1. Feeding:
   Remove all feeding sources all bird feeders for all animals should be removed.
2. Water:
   Try and remove all the water sources or make them unpalatable to birds.
3. Vents/chimneys:
   Find all access holes and close them off

3. Air conditioning:
   HVAC systems on the roof are particularly the ones at risk. Close up all the underside and all open filter and remove all shelter areas.
4. Balconies:
   Remove all debris and junk that encourages pigeons nesting.
   

Industrial/corporate/government:

Industries have usually a larger problem with pigeons. Usually dealing with the heat they  produce, the shelter they provide and the protection from predators. Since closing the doors for example at a steel mill is usually the answer we have provided several answers that will help depending on the individual needs.
