Bird control is very rarely achieved with one product or treatment.
Birds fly and birds are very much creatures of habit. Most importantly, birds are often looked upon as special creatures which deserve free reign to do as they please. This freedom comes with a price. Many bird infestations develop on signs, homes or rooftops, because the owner thought it was all right to leave them alone. Once the birds are established, it may take mechanical alterations, repellents and ultimately trapping to resolve conflicts. Our control methods progress from passive to aggressive. Over the years, we have learned what will work and how to implement solutions successfully.

Bird-Proofing / Perch Modification
A variety of Hawkeye products eliminate perching, roosting and harboring areas. We want to prevent conflicts before they happen. Hawkeye specializes in large scale indoor and outdoor exclusion netting and wiring systems. A discreet wire system on ledges or other perching areas is a powerful deterrent. These installations are species specific.

Birds of Prey: Falconry
Falconry is centuries old; with its roots in medieval times. The modern day application entails free flying live birds of prey to relocate problem birds. This two thousand years old art is nature's way of regulating bird populations.

Active Relocation Programs
We use legal, MOE approved methods to control geese and other bird populations on sites where they are not wanted (such as golf courses, cemeteries, play grounds, parks, and residential and commercial properties). Our effective program uses specially trained dogs and eagles to control the ground and air. The handler's responsibility is to ensure the safety of the dogs, the birds and the public.

Capture Netting™
Hawkeye’s special license allows us to live capture starlings, sparrows and other non-protected birds. Once the birds are caught, they are removed by our trained technicians and released into their natural habitat under strict guidelines.

Trapping Programs
When all of the above do not provide proper control, the only option left is to trap the birds. Hawkeye has custom designed a variety of traps with special watering and feeding systems. After trapping, birds are stayed and re-weathered.

Cleaning & Disinfecting Services
More than an esthetic issue, this is a real health and safety concern. Hawkeye offers a full service cleaning package that includes removal of feces and nest materials, power washing and disinfecting.
