What a great event it was! A large crowd of visitors gathered to meet with and learn about the shelter residents and their care. Among the day's activities were demonstrations featuring Hawkeye's Birds of Prey. Rocket, our stunnng Peregrine Falcon, Coco, grumpy Great Horned Owl, and Simone, our classy Harris's Hawk lady dazzled kids and adults alike. Hawkeye's staff was on hand to answer any and all questions and talk a bit about the birds, what it takes to care for them, and how we work with them. We all had a wonderful time and hope to see everyone again next year!
