Gulls - Pest bird balcony netting

Our Company, Hawkeye Bird and Animal Control, uses standard weight netting or a heavy duty netting according to the customer needs and the job requirements.

The standard weight netting comes with a 2 year warranty. It is 4 strand polyethylene with a heavy U.V. stabilizer applied to protect it from sun damage. Different size net spacings are available and the recommended net spacing for Gulls is 5 to 10 cm (2-4”) . The colour of the netting should be a contrast colour to the background. Netting is available in black, white, stone or translucent.

The heavy duty netting comes with a 5 year warranty. The recommended net spacing for Gulls is the same as the standard weight netting - 5 to 10 cm. Each hole for spacing is individually knotted and heat set. The entire netting is U.V. protected with an added ice and water protection the the cold climates in Canada. The heavy duty netting is more suited to long term use.

A very large advantage to using the heavy duty netting is the arched zipper which is exclusive to Hawkeye Bird and Animal Control. The Zipper Allows the Owner/User to roll the netting up out of the way when the balcony is in use. It can be easily installed at additional cost.
Both styles of netting will reduce visibility very slightly.

What We Do To Install
After we clean and disinfect the balcony, hardware is attached to the structure, then a rust inhibited steel cable is attached , then the netting. The netting can extend from floor to ceiling or top of railing to ceiling (depending on the spacing, if any, on the railing).
