What if I have to reschedule or cancel?

You may cancel or reschedule up to 96 hours (4 days) before your scheduled experience at no cost. Use the "reschedule" button at the bottom of your confirmation email. 

Cancellation Policy

We request a minimum of 96 hours (4 days) notice . As much notice as possible is greatly appreciated. Rescheduling fees are as follows:

• Cancellation up to 96 hours (4 days) prior to booked date/time - $0
• Cancellation 95-12 hours prior - $35
• Less than 12 hours or no-show - $75

Due the nature of falconry being an outdoor sport, Hawkeye may have to cancel the falconry session the morning of. Make certain we have a cell number that you can be reached at on the morning of your booking.

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes, you need to bring the signed waiver. You cannot participate without it.

Also, Falconry is an outdoor activity. There is a lean-to on site to get out of the weather but no area is heated. Flying the bird of prey will be out in our field. Please come dressed for the weather, including sturdy footwear. NO SANDALS. If there has recently been rain be prepared for mud. For your safety also bring sunglasses and a hat (the bird may land on your head!).

What Experiences are offered?

Summer: April thru November- falconry - 1,2,3 hours, refer to the page with explanations or put all details here. 

Winter: October thru March owl and eagle, refer to pages or put all details here.  I think put the details here.  The booking pages are very hard to find the info.

FALCONRY EXPERIENCE - April thru November

In our falconry sessions (offered April thru November) you get to see our birds of prey, information about falconry (history and what we use our birds for), safe handling and get to fly one of our Harris Hawks.  In the longer sessions you get much more information about the s

TWO HOUR sessions you see our mews, overview of falconry, a hawk, falcon and an owl will be brought out for close up viewing and each person gets to fly one of our hawks.

THREE HOUR sessions you get all of the above and also get to handle one of the owls on your gloved hand.

OWL EXPERIENCE

Meet our owls - Great Grey, Horned Owl, Snowy Owl and Eagle Owl - offered November thru February.  Learn all about these unique birds.  1 Hour experience.

In the owl sessions you get to meet our owls, information about falconry (history and what we use our birds for), safe handling and get to fly one of our owls.   

EAGLE ADVENTURE

Meet our eagles - Bald Eagle and Golden Eagle.  This adventure is suitable for participants 16 years and older.  We ask the you do not bring children under age 16.  Groups are capped at 4 participants. 1 Hour experience.
