The Hawkeye team was called to a building in Toronto that experienced a severe pigeon infestation. In fact, there were bird spikes installed to remedy the problem - the trouble is that the spikes were not installed correctly and actually aided pigeons and provided nesting material.

The balcony closest to the ground required removal of the entire banister. The header above the entrance also had to be taken down and dismantled by a crew of 4. The weight of the pigeon poop that had dropped behind the face of the unit and the corrosion may still require a replacement of the entire unit.
Instead of bird spikes, Hawkeye will install Flex Track and develop a mechanical system to prevent future landing, nesting, or roosting. This is a project in progress - stay tuned for uupdates.
